St. Catharines Tennis Club revived as courts upgraded and added across city

Lighting, fencing, and pathways have been improved thanks to $40,000 contribution

Tennis is making a comeback in St. Catharines thanks to a partnership between the City and the revived St. Catharines Tennis Club.

The City upgraded three courts and added a fourth at Community Park in Merritton, supported by a $40,000 club contribution.

Lighting, fencing, and pathways have been improved, with permanent court lines set to be painted by May 20.

The club’s season began April 12, offering evening leagues, youth programming, and social events.
