Mackenzie helped lead River Lions to first championship in 2024
The Niagara River Lions want to be more in touch with the community - and are taking steps to do so.
The team announced yesterday that captain Kimbal Mackenzie will be their franchise's first ever Brand and Community Ambassador - also a first for the Canadian Elite Basketball League.
During the offseason, Mackenzie also served as the interim Head Coach of Niagara College's women's basketball team, who finished the year with a 14-2 record.
