Over 5,700 cannabis plants found on property
Niagara police are investigating a break-in at a home near Highway 3 and Shafley Road South in Wainfleet.
Early morning on Friday, March 14, armed suspects forced their way in, searched the property, and fled in a black and a white pickup truck.
No valuables were reported stolen.
During the investigation, police found over 5,700 illegal cannabis plants on-site, valued at nearly $2.9 million.
The case remains open, and police are asking residents in the area to check security footage for any evidence.
