Payments are calculated using formula based on gaming revenue
OLG has issued a $3.7 million payment to the City of Niagara Falls for hosting Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara.
The latest quarterly payment, covering the period from January 1 to March 31, totals $3,743,375.
Payments to host municipalities are calculated using a standardized formula based on the gaming revenue generated at each site.
Since 1994, OLG has provided nearly $2.5 billion in non-tax revenue to communities that host casinos across Ontario.
