Event offers hikes, species tracking and hands-on learning
Niagara College's 10th annual Bioblitz is happening later this month, which invites nature lovers to help document biodiversity at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The free, family-friendly event runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 12th offering hikes, species tracking, and hands-on learning.
New this year: Indigenous-led workshops, bird hikes, and traditional teachings aligned with NC’s new Sustainability Plan.
Participants can enjoy food, beading, cultural storytelling, and more, all while helping build a species database for research.
