Man arrested after collision leads to discovery of drugs and handgun

More than $18,000 worth of drugs seized by police

Niagara Regional Police have seized drugs and a gun after a single-vehicle crash in Fort Erie.

Early Monday morning, a Buick struck a street post and flipped over near Garrison Road and Helena Street. During the investigation, police discovered a Glock firearm, a large quantity of drugs, including suspected fentanyl, cocaine, oxy, illegal cannabis as well as cash.

21-year-old Ardon Chamberlain of Fort Erie has been charged with multiple offences, while the estimated street value of the drugs is around $18,000.
