Marine traffic not affected by closure
The Glendale Avenue bridge will remain closed for at least a few more weeks.
The bridge has remained closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic since last Tuesday because of an issue with the expansion joint that is preventing it from fully lowering.
Repair work is underway, while crews from the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation say it'll be May 12th before it's opened again.
Marine traffic is not affected by the closure.
