What's Good in Niagara? Beer collectible show helping next gen brewmasters

Annual spring trade show raises money for Niagara College scholarships

The Niagara Brewery Collectibles Show is being held this month at the Armenian Community Centre in St. Catharines, and will help the next generation of brewmasters.

Founder Larry Lemelin says revenue from the show will go towards Niagara College scholarships.

Lemelin says the beer community is so tightly knit not just in Niagara, but in Ontario as well. He says having so many local options is a good thing, as it results in a better experience for those that appreciate locally made products.

Lemelin notes that a lot of local breweries also work with local restaurants, while also seeing visitors from outside of the region. When it comes to the collectibles show, he says people will travel from far and wide to see a unique collection of beer-related memorabilia. Having been a beer salesman for over three decades, he says he’s always thrilled to see such a tremendous turnout for the show.

The show runs April 26th from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
